The Hasler Foundation mainly supports educational, research and innovation projects where the aim is to promote the further development of information and communications technology (ICT) or innovative applications of ICT.
On a more limited scale, the Foundation takes a financial stake in start-up companies within its specialist area, supports non-commercial organisations whose goals match those of the Foundation, and awards grants.
State-of-the-art ICT applications are not eligible for support from the Hasler Foundation, nor does it pursue any social objectives.
