From time to time, the Hasler Foundation issues tenders for topical, thematic support programs. In so doing, its goal in each case is to support a number of different but thematically related projects.
Underlying the current choice of themes is, on the one hand, the fact that a great variety of information and communications systems today are rapidly becoming more and more effective, more far-reaching and more complicated. On the other hand, most users also expect such systems to be ever more reliable, safe and easy to use. The Hasler Foundation, through its projects, supports projects that lay the ground for I&C systems to become both more technically refined and – in the widest sense of the term – more user-friendly.
